- Fertility concerns and pre-pregnancy advice
- Antenatal and post-natal care
- Perimenopause and menopause advice
- Preventative check-ups (eg cervical screening, weight concerns, etc)
I provide advice over one or more consultations. In Certain situations referral to an Allied Health Professional may be necessary e.g. dietician, exercise physiologist, psychologist, and medical specialist (including gynaecologists and obstetricians) to ensure holistic care.

- Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) (Uni Tasmania 2002)

Prior Medical Positions
I completed my residency at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, and then subsequently trained and worked in a number of general practices in Brisbane, Townsville, and Canberra.
I consulted for a number of years at Healthy Women Medical Centre (2014 – 2/2023), Indooroopilly. Working at this long-established women’s health clinic allowed me to focus on my interest area, connect with women, and offer personalised solutions for a wide range of health concerns.
Prior to my medical studies, I worked as a solicitor at a commercial law firm in Brisbane. Working in the law helped me develop a range of skills including the ability to clearly identify and analyse a problem at hand, and generate practical solutions for clients.

Affordable Access to Care
To help patients financially, we can schedule Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Annual Health Assessments, which will attract a reduced out-of-pocket cost:
- GPCC Management Plans (Item 965) are recommended every 12 months and will be Bulk Billed if you are eligible for these Medicare items.
- Reviews of GPCC Management Plans (Item 967) are recommended every 6 months and will have a fixed $50 out-of-pocket cost if scheduled in advance.
- Over 75 Health assessments (Item 705 or 707) are recommended every 12 months and will be bulk billed if you are eligible for these Medicare items.
Concession card holders such as Commonwealth Senior Health Card holders (over 67) may be eligible for the extended Medicare safety net once their out-of-pocket expenses reach $861.20. Once this threshold is reached, Medicare will usually reimburse 80% of the gap up to a gap limit of $93.20 for the remainder of the calendar year. For further information see health.gov.au/topics/medicare/about/safety-nets
Eligibility details for Commonwealth Seniors Health Card can be found here.
To meet the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card income test (there is no assets test), you must earn less than the following:
- $101,105 a year if you’re single.
- $161,768 a year for couples.
- $202,210 a year for couples separated by illness, respite care or prison.
If you’re part of a family or couple, you can register for the Medicare Safety Net as a family to combine your costs. This means you’re more likely to reach the thresholds sooner. Even if all family members are on the same Medicare card, you’ll still need to register. You only need to register once.
You can register or tell us about a change in your family situation by either:
