Exercise Physiology in Indooroopilly

Movement and exercise tailored to your recovery and long-term mobility goals.

When to book an exercise physiology appointment

If you have recently been injured, are managing a chronic condition, or simply want to exercise better.

Managing a chronic condition

Diagnoses like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, or obesity may benefit from tailored movement therapy.

Recovering from surgery

If you've recently had surgery and it's affecting how you move or feel.

Dealing with persistent movement difficulties

If pain or movement difficulties are interfering with your daily life.

Movement and mental wellbeing support

If you are managing a neuromuscular condition or looking for structured exercise to support mental wellbeing.

Assessment and treatment approach

Our exercise physiologist begins with an initial assessment of your medical history and exercise goals, then establishes a fitness baseline.

A few questions and measurements turn into a plan that works towards getting you where you want to be.

Goals, plans, and outcomes

We discuss where you are and where you want to be. We build a plan together tailored to your body and habits.

Exercise therapy sessions

We put your plan in action and actually work through exercises together so that you know what to do at home.

Supporting whole-person care

Whether you're recovering from a new injury or an existing one, our EP can help.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get Medicare rebates on allied health appointments?

You may be eligible for Medicare rebates on allied health appointments (dietetics, podiatry, and physiotherapy) with a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan.

Medicare rebates for psychology and counselling apply with a Mental Health Plan.

Are allied health appointments booked separately?

GP and allied health appointments are booked the same way, but they are separate appointments. If you want to see your GP and an allied health practitioner, you'll need two unique appointments.

Which services require a referral?

You may book in for any service at our practice. Please note, if you do not have a referral, you will be billed privately.

‍

We only require referrals for ADHD appointments. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis and subject to practitioner availability.

What's your cancellation policy?

Late cancellations may incur a fee. We ask for at least 2 hours notice for GP appointments and 24 hours for allied health. Contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to reschedule your appointment.

Can I pay by card?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash and bank transfer. Payment is processed at reception on the day of your appointment.

Is iHealth a bulk billing clinic?

We are not a bulk-billing clinic. The fee tables on our Fees page set out our current charges and indicative rebates; reception can help you check the likely cost of your appointment.

Still have questions?

Our team is ready to help with anything else.
