About iHealth Centre

Local experience. Personalised care. An integrated health team.

Caring for country and community

iHealth Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to land, waters, culture, family and community.

We are committed to providing respectful, welcoming and accessible care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families.

Why iHealth exists

At iHealth, we believe good healthcare starts with understanding the whole person.
‍
Our vision is to provide care that is personal, coordinated and easy to navigate — bringing together general practice, nursing, allied health and other services when they are needed.
‍
We want every patient to feel listened to, supported and confident in their care, whether they are visiting us for something simple or managing more complex health needs.
‍
We’re proud of our history, and excited about continuing to build better ways of caring for our community.

iHealth Centre front door.

Built on history. Focused on care.

Fiveways Surgery and St Lucia Village Medical Centre have cared for local families for generations.
‍
Today, iHealth Centre carries that history forward with a modern, multidisciplinary approach to general practice, combining experienced clinicians, contemporary facilities and a connected team.
‍
Our focus remains the same: providing thoughtful, high-quality care to the people and families who trust us with their health.

1945

Fiveways Surgery began serving the local community from Gailey Fiveways, providing practical, relationship-based care across generations.

1974

St Lucia Village Medical Centre opened on Hawken Drive, becoming a trusted part of the local community.

2022

The two practices came together as iHealth Centre, with respect for their histories and a shared commitment to patient care.

Today

iHealth Centre Indooroopilly brings GPs, nurses and allied health services together under one roof, supporting more connected care.

Forward

Continuing to develop more personalised, integrated and accessible ways of caring for our community.

GP-led care, supported by a connected team

At iHealth, your GP remains at the centre of your care.
‍
Your GP listens, assesses your concerns and helps you understand what is happening and what to do next.
‍
When additional support may be helpful, your GP can work with our nurses, allied health practitioners, diagnostic services and other clinicians to help coordinate your care.
‍
This can be particularly valuable for people managing multiple health concerns, ongoing conditions or more complex health needs.

Frequently asked questions

What does GP-led connected care mean at iHealth Centre?

GP-led care is the healthcare system we believe in here at iHealth. It means that your general practitioner is at the centre of your care, where it all begins.

Start by seeing your GP. They will assess your needs, provide clear next steps, and may refer you to any of our in-house practitioners if helpful, so your care can consider the whole picture, not just your symptoms.

How does iHealth support connected care?

We have a number of GPs and in-house allied health practitioners available within the clinic — from mental health professionals to a physiotherapist and podiatrist. Our team works together internally to help coordinate your care where appropriate and with consent.

Can iHealth help with complex or ongoing health concerns?

Yes. General practice is often most valuable when health concerns involve several symptoms, conditions or different parts of the healthcare system.

‍

Your GP can help bring the different pieces together, develop a plan with you and involve other members of the iHealth team where appropriate.

Do you accept new patients?

We welcome new patients warmly.

An initial appointment gives us time to understand your health history and what matters to you.

How can I get my records transferred to iHealth?

Contact your current clinic and follow their records transfer process.
Have them send your information to us either via email to: reception_indo@ihealthcentre.com.au, or fax to: 0738700583

What are your fees?

Fees and rebates vary by practitioner and service type.

We keep an updated list available for you to see at any time, available on our Fees page.
